IMC#8 Come and Die (막8:27-38)

예수와 제자들이 빌립보 가이사랴 여러 마을로 나가실새 길에서 제자들에게 물어 이르시되 사람들이 나를 누구라고 하느냐 제자들이 여짜와 이르되 세례 요한이라 하고 더러는 엘리야, 더러는 선지자 중의 하나라 하나이다 또 물으시되 너희는 나를 누구라 하느냐 베드로가 대답하여 이르되 주는 그리스도시니이다 하매 이에 자기의 일을 아무에게도 말하지 말라 경고하시고 인자가 많은 고난을 받고 장로들과 대제사장들과 서기관들에게 버린 바 되어 죽임을 당하고 사흘 만에 살아나야 할 것을 비로소 그들에게 가르치시되 드러내 놓고 이 말씀을 하시니 베드로가 예수를 붙들고 항변하매 예수께서 돌이키사 제자들을 보시며 베드로를 꾸짖어 이르시되 사탄아 내 뒤로 물러가라 네가 하나님의 일을 생각하지 아니하고 도리어 사람의 일을 생각하는도다 하시고 무리와 제자들을 불러 이르시되 누구든지 나를 따라오려거든 자기를 부인하고 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 따를 것이니라 누구든지 자기 목숨을 구원하고자 하면 잃을 것이요 누구든지 나와 복음을 위하여 자기 목숨을 잃으면 구원하리라 사람이 만일 온 천하를 얻고도 자기 목숨을 잃으면 무엇이 유익하리요 사람이 무엇을 주고 자기 목숨과 바꾸겠느냐 누구든지 이 음란하고 죄 많은 세대에서 나와 내 말을 부끄러워하면 인자도 아버지의 영광으로 거룩한 천사들과 함께 올 때에 그 사람을 부끄러워하리라 (막8:27-38)

27 And Jesus went on with his disciples to the villages of Caesarea Philippi. And on the way he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that I am?” 28 And they told him, “John the Baptist; and others say, Elijah; and others, one of the prophets.” 29 And he asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered him, “You are the Christ.” 30 And he strictly charged them to tell no one about him. 31 And he began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes and be killed, and after three days rise again. 32 And he said this plainly. And Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. 33 But turning and seeing his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said, “Get behind me, Satan! For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”34 And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 35 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it. 36 For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? 37 For what can a man give in return for his soul? 38 For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” (Mark 8:27-38)

무리와 제자들을 불러 이르시되 누구든지 나를 따라오려거든 자기를 부인하고 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 따를 것이니라 누구든지 자기 목숨을 구원하고자 하면 잃을 것이요 누구든지 나와 복음을 위하여 자기 목숨을 잃으면 구원하리라 (막8:34-35)

34 And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 35 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it. (Mark8:34-35)

누구든지 이 음란하고 죄 많은 세대에서 나와 내 말을 부끄러워하면 인자도 아버지의 영광으로 거룩한 천사들과 함께 올 때에 그 사람을 부끄러워하리라 (막8:38)

For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” (Mark8:38)

미쁘다 이 말이여 우리가 주와 함께 죽었으면 또한 함께 살 것이요 참으면 또한 함께 왕 노릇 할 것이요 우리가 주를 부인하면 주도 우리를 부인하실 것이라 우리는 미쁨이 없을지라도 주는 항상 미쁘시니 자기를 부인하실 수 없으시리라 (딤후2:11-13)

The saying is trustworthy, for: If we have died with him, we will also live with him; 12 if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us; 13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful—for he cannot deny himself. (2 Timothy 2:12-13)

닭이 곧 두 번째 울더라 이에 베드로가 예수께서 자기에게 하신 말씀 곧 닭이 두 번 울기 전에 네가 세 번 나를 부인하리라 하심이 기억되어 그 일을 생각하고 울었더라 (막14:72)

And immediately the rooster crowed a second time. And Peter remembered how Jesus had said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” And he broke down and wept. (Mark14:72)

예수께서 이르시되 네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 하셨으니 이것이 크고 첫째 되는 계명이요 둘째도 그와 같으니 네 이웃을 네 자신 같이 사랑하라 하셨으니 (마22:37-39)

And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:37-39)

무리와 제자들을 불러 이르시되 누구든지 나를 따라오려거든 자기를 부인하고 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 따를 것이니라 누구든지 자기 목숨을 구원하고자 하면 잃을 것이요 누구든지 나와 복음을 위하여 자기 목숨을 잃으면 구원하리라 (막8:34-35)

예수께서 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 나와 복음을 위하여 집이나 형제나 자매나 어머니나 아버지나 자식이나 전토를 버린 자는 현세에 있어 집과 형제와 자매와 어머니와 자식과 전토를 백 배나 받되 박해를 겸하여 받고 내세에 영생을 받지 못할 자가 없느니라 (막10:29-30)

Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the gospel, 30 who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life (Mark10:29-30)

그러므로 너는 내가 우리 주를 증언함과 또는 주를 위하여 갇힌 자 된 나를 부끄러워하지 말고 오직 하나님의 능력을 따라 복음과 함께 고난을 받으라 (딤후1:8)

Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, (2 Timothy 1:8)

내가 복음을 위하여 모든 것을 행함은 복음에 참여하고자 함이라 (고전9:23)

I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings. (1 Corinthians 9:23)

수고하고 무거운 짐 진 자들아 다 내게로 오라 내가 너희를 쉬게 하리라 나는 마음이 온유하고 겸손하니 나의 멍에를 메고 내게 배우라 그리하면 너희 마음이 쉼을 얻으리니 이는 내 멍에는 쉽고 내 짐은 가벼움이라 하시니라 (마11:28-30)

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

그러므로 너희는 가서 모든 민족을 제자로 삼아 아버지와 아들과 성령의 이름으로 세례를 베풀고 내가 너희에게 분부한 모든 것을 가르쳐 지키게 하라 볼지어다 내가 세상 끝날까지 너희와 항상 함께 있으리라 하시니라 (마28:19-20)

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 사는 것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사시는 것이라 이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 자신을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라 (갈2:20)

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)
